Torture

“There will one day spring from the brain of science a machine or force so fearful in its potentialities, so absolutely terrifying, that even man, the fighter, who will dare torture and death in order to inflict torture and death, will be appalled, and so abandon war forever.” – Thomas A. Edison

    • Shackles from the S-21 prison in Cambodia where prisoners were tortured and then killed. An excellent book on this holocaust was written by a doctor, Haing Ngor entitled Survival in the Killing Fields if you are interested. In a 4 year period in the 1970’s 1-3 million Cambodians were killed out of a population of about 8 million.

  1. Amen! I hope this day comes.
The horrors of Cambodia, I remember reading about Pol Pot in the 1970s. How does civilisation produces those maniac maggots who are just a piece of nothing, but are capable of the greatest evil imaginable.
